他是墨西哥的 Foreign Relations Secretary 外交部長，
以前也當過 Mexico City’s mayor,
而且這次發生事故 Line 12 就是在他任內的時候建造的。

1. METRO 地鐵，捷運
Metro 是一種 train (火車)
但通常在英文說 train, 如 I’m going to take a train,
有一種遠距離像台鐵的感覺。
Metro 這一類的通常都是比較集中在都市區,
但同樣是地鐵 / 捷運，
每個地方叫法不一樣！
如紐約叫 Subway，芝加哥叫 Metra 或 The “L”，波斯頓叫 The “T” 等等。
💡 各地的捷運到底應該叫什麼？我的建議💡
狀況 1
如果你想知道特定的地方叫什麼，
直接去 google 「地方 + metro 或 subway」，
就像如果查「Chicago subway」你就會看到 Metra 和 The “L”；
或 google 「Germany metro」你就會看到 U-Bahn！

所以 U-Bahn 的 U 不是唸阿拉伯字母「U」而是注音的ㄨ (wu) 😉

如果你只是要講捷運 in general，
你可以直接說 metro 或 subway train，
大部分人都會知道你的意思。
更多各地捷運 / 地鐵的稱呼 👇
英國倫敦叫 Underground 或 Tube；
東南亞有些地方會說 MTR (是 Mass Transit Railway 簡稱)；
台灣呢？台灣捷運最常見的說法是 MRT 和 metro。
MRT 是 mass rapid transit 的縮寫，Wikipedia 正式定義為：
Rapid transit or mass rapid transit (MRT), also known as heavy rail, metro, subway, tube, … underground, is a type of high-capacity public transport generally found in urban areas.

所以 MRT 等等各種捷運 / 地鐵… 是通常出現在都市區的一種大容量 (可以載很多人) 大眾運輸。
2. TRAIN 火車相關單字
火車車廂的英文有兩種常見說法：
Train carriage(s) 和 train car(s)，
朗讀裡兩個都出現了！👌
AP 使用 carriage, VOA 使用 train car。

所以墨西哥城地鐵其實不是第一次發生致死事故…
這種 phrasal verb 片語可以做詞性變化，
變成 run into – running into – ran into。
除了撞在一起，run into / running into / ran into 還有很多多多的意思和用法！
