Hello Hazel, 我想請問 “Each family may have their own special traditions to ring in the Lunar New Year, but there are a few common staples.” 這句話裡的ring要怎麼解釋呢? 字典裡的意思好像都不太適合… 先謝謝你囉。

Hi Jessie! 這是一個片語 ring in, 意思是「敲鍾慶祝某事，尤其是新年」，所以這個 ring 是類似 ring a bell (按鈴、敲鐘) 裡的意思～ Hope this helps! 🙂
